  34. I have done a simular thing. I have extended the 8 bit part of the ISA bus in
  35. my A3000 to a second backplane in a box underneath it.
  36. I routed all lines except the power (+5V +-12V) which i get from the power
  37. supply of the lower box. 
  38. I used regular flat cable, it works fairly well, but it IS noisy.
  39. The cable is approx. 50cm long.
  40. Try to load the bus with lots of cards or some termination, it will
  41. improve things a lot... (I use several cards.)
