- I have done a simular thing. I have extended the 8 bit part of the ISA bus in
- my A3000 to a second backplane in a box underneath it.
- I routed all lines except the power (+5V +-12V) which i get from the power
- supply of the lower box.
- I used regular flat cable, it works fairly well, but it IS noisy.
- The cable is approx. 50cm long.
- Try to load the bus with lots of cards or some termination, it will
- improve things a lot... (I use several cards.)
